Pam Abernathy has been a part of the banking industry since 1983, with most of her career spent at F&M Bank, including over two decades of that time dedicated to mortgage lending. This wealth of experience and passion for helping her clients achieve their dreams of buying or renovating a home, sending their kids to college or refinancing to free up more of their own money, has led Pam to earn numerous accolades for her client service. However, what Pam finds most rewarding is serving others in the role of mentor and coach, often assisting her clients in developing a plan of action to achieve their goals. She is passionate about finding creative financing solutions, tailored to each individual client, taking the ultimate care to ensure that her clients understand the lending process as well as the expectations and responsibilities of home ownership. She is a 2001 graduate of Leadership Rowan and has completed numerous banking courses throughout her career in an effort to serve clients with the best, most up-to-date information. Pam has lived in the Salisbury/Rowan area all her life and is dedicated to giving back to her community through work with Waterworks Visual Arts Center, Salisbury/Rowan Association of Realtors, Central Carolina Realtors Association, Food for Thought, Salisbury Sales & Marketing Executives Association, Salisbury Rowan Home Builders Association and the National Association of Homebuilders. Outside of work, Pam enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, including her beloved four-legged family member.
