Lori Smith joined F&M Bank in 2005, though her career in the industry spans more than three decades. Her in-office specialties include strengthening the many relationships she’s forged in Cabarrus and Rowan counties, as well as helping clients navigate the challenges of today’s mortgage banking environment. In addition to countless years of experience aiding clients in securing home equity lines of credit, Lori started working with the F&M Bank mortgage team in June of 2020 and loves guiding clients through the lending process and assisting them in achieving their dreams of home ownership. Lori’s commitment to others is well known at F&M Bank and within the community, which is why she earned the 2015 F&M Bank Virginia Hedrick Memorial Award and the 2021 Daisy Fink Retail Service Quality Award. Outside of work, she has been a volunteer with Cabarrus County Meals on Wheels and enjoys traveling.
