2025 Rowan County Dragon Boat Festival

The F&M Bank team made waves at the 11th Annual Rowan County Dragon Boat Festival, held July 26 on High Rock Lake. As a proud Silver Sponsor, we were thrilled to support this exciting community tradition—and even more thrilled when our team, the Strokes of Genius, paddled their way to a second-place finish in their division!

This high-energy event brings together teams of 20 paddlers, a drummer, and a steersperson to race 42-foot dragon boats in an unforgettable display of teamwork, rhythm, and community spirit. With food trucks, local vendors, and plenty of lakeside cheer, it’s a favorite summer tradition for our employees and neighbors alike.
