We are seeking potential team members for PART-TIME TELLER positions.


Tellers are the face of our company and represent us in the community. A teller position with our team offers an opportunity to be part of a great company! You'll have exposure to a variety of responsibilities, people and experiences in a professional work environment.


We value what's right for our customers in everything we do. Our teller's role is to warmly welcome customers to our branches, efficiently process the customer's request and build trust that F&M Bank can help them with all of their financial needs.


This exciting role includes:


  • Going the extra mile to greet customers, show them that we care and make them feel welcome.
  • Asking questions to learn about their financial needs.
  • Working with your manager to increase your effectiveness through feedback and coaching.
  • Processing multiple customer transactions through patience, attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.
  • Accurately maintaining and balancing a cash drawer.
  • Presenting a professional demeanor to every customer each and every day.
  • Being reliable in attendance.

Your ability to meet these qualifications can be demonstrated through relevant work experience with a proven record of success. Prior bank teller experience is preferred, but not essential. Established and significant retail sales experience is also helpful.

Customer Service Representatives

We are seeking potential team members for CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE positions.


Our Customer Service Reps (CSRs) are the face of our company and represent us in the community. This position with our team offers an opportunity to be part of a great company! You'll have exposure to a variety of responsibilities, people and experiences in a professional work environment.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY


The CSR's primary responsibility is to offer and sell financial products and services to both individual and business customers, meeting established sales and customer service goals. Also uses every opportunity to engage customers and create loyalty and sustain customer banking relationships. Always seizes opportunities to exceed customer service expectations.


SKILLS/SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE


  • PC usage and working knowledge of associated banking systems and other applications
  • Excellent oral communication skills and active listening skills
  • Ability to successfully engage customers and possess conversational sales skills
  • Ability to exhibit a drive for achieving branch goals and exceeding expectations with persistence
  • Ability to understand products/services and to match customers with appropriate products/services
  • Detail oriented, strong organization skills, flexible, ability to take initiative
  • Professionalism and integrity
  • Can be poised under pressure, follow direction, exercise patience and maintain a positive outlook
  • Ability to shift focus from one activity to another without impacting quality of work; can adapt to different customer styles and needs

Your ability to meet these qualifications can be demonstrated through relevant work experience with a proven record of success. Prior bank customer service experience is preferred. Established and significant retail sales experience is also a plus. Prior bank teller experience is required as this position will also perform teller services.
