Like most other North Carolina small businesses, F&M bank grew from humble beginnings. Chartered in 1909 with one location and two employees, F&M Bank has grown to encompass two counties, with ten locations and more than 130 employees. How did we become one of the best banks in NC? We recruited the finest staff around and emphasized top-notch customer service and financial expertise, a practice that still forms the backbone of our business.
Today, F&M Bank has a leading market share in the area and we’re doing more than ever to serve our community, from hometown reinvestment and money management education to the F&M Foundation.
